My BCA–DS Journey at Echelon Institute of Technology: From First Step to Second Year
🌟 Meri BCA Data Science Journey at Echelon Institute of Technology – From Admission Day to Now (2 Years Recap)
Hello everyone!
Mera name Ravi hai, aur main currently BCA Data Science (BCA-DS) ka 5th semester student hoon at Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad, Haryana. Aaj main aap sab ke saath apni poori college journey share karne jaa raha hoon — admission ke pehle din se lekar aaj tak ke har yaadgar pal. Shayad ye blog un logon ke liye useful ho jo BCA ya Data Science course me admission lene ka soch rahe hain, ya phir college life ke real experiences padhna chahte hain.
🎓 Admission ka Din – 20 June 2023
Sab kuch start hua 20 June 2023 se, jab maine Echelon Institute me admission liya tha. Us time meri counselor thi Ms. Nidhi Singla Ma’am, jinhone mujhe poore admission process ke baare me bataya. Interesting baat ye thi ki wahi ma’am baad me hume Digital Electronics Lab padhane bhi lagi!
Admission ke time college ki taraf se hume ek welcome kit mila tha jisme ek bag, pen, file, key ring aur ek cup tha jisme “Echelon Institute” ka naam likha tha. Starting se hi college ka vibe bhot energetic aur positive laga.
📅 Reporting Day – 19 August 2023 (Thoda Barish, Thoda Excitement)
Uske kuch dino baad aayi reporting date – 19 August 2023. Subah halka-halka barish ho raha tha, main apni car se 10-11 baje nikla. Poore din me excitement aur nervousness dono thi. Us din document verification hua, aur jin students ka fees pending tha unhone deposit kiya.
Special baat ye thi ki college ne har student ke liye lunch arrange kiya tha — puri, paneer ki , gulab jamun, samosa, chole etc. Main thoda kam hi liya kyuki excitement zyada thi khane se.
Usi din ek zabardast event bhi organize hua: Hasya Kavi Sammelan, jisme Shambhu Shikhar, Sarvesh Asthana, Dinesh Raghuvanshi, Dr. Malvika Hariom jaise popular Indian poets aaye the. Maine unke saath selfies bhi li thi aur unka performance bhot entertaining tha. Dance program bhi hua jahan college ke students ne perform kiya. Overall, college ka first impression 10/10 tha!
👨🏫 Pehla Class, Pehla Confusion
Do din baad classes start hui — but pehle din sab confusion hi confusion. Samajh hi nahi aaya ki class kahaan honi hai. Jab poocha to bola gaya “ruko, abhi batate hain”. Thodi der baad sabhi students ko line me lagaya gaya. Humara BCA-DS, BCA General aur BBA sab line me the.
Teacher ne bataya ki aaj hamari first class lab me hogi — aur wo lab tha C Language ka. First day kaafi organized tha. Uske baad humne apne class WhatsApp groups banaye, jahan subject wise updates milne lage.
🧍♂️ Ek Akela Student – Introvert Start
Starting me main kisi se baat nahi karta tha. Sirf teacher se baat kar leta tha, otherwise main apne zone me hi rehta tha. Ek din ek class student (ek ladki) ne mujhe approach kiya aur pucha “tum kisi se baat kyun nahi karte?” Usne mujhe samjhaya ki “college life ka maza lena chahiye, friends banana chahiye”.
Wahi meri pehli college wali friend bani. Usne bola “tumhe dekhti hu to lagta hai tum sabko ignore karte ho jaise koi pagal ho”. Baat sahi thi, toh maine bhi decide kiya ki open up karna chahiye. Uske baad thoda-thoda sabse baat karne laga.
🧑🏫 Teachers se Bond & Staff Changes
Maine student se zyada teacher-friendly approach rakha. Teachers se acchi bonding ban gayi thi. Athar Sir, Mushtaq Sir, Shashi Tanwar Ma'am, aur Nidhi Ma’am – ye 4 mere favorite teachers me se the. Unfortunately, sabhi 4 teachers second semester ke baad resign kar gaye.
Mushtaq Sir ka resignation kaafi shocking tha. Unhone personally mujhe bataya tha ki unka salary hike college ne approve nahi kiya, isliye unhone better opportunity accept ki. Aaj bhi un sabka contact mere paas hai, kabhi kabhi baat ho jaati hai.
🎉 Memorable Events & Competitions
College life sirf classes tak simit nahi thi. Non-fire cooking competition me maine participate kiya tha jahan maine pinwheel sandwich banaya aur 2nd prize jeeta (cash + certificate). Bhot proud moment tha mere liye.
Class projects, assessments, and PPTs me bhi log mujhse help lete the, aur maine bhi dil se help ki. Ek WhatsApp group ban gaya tha jisme hum log notes, assignments, and important updates share karte the.
📸 Camera Wala Dost – “Tumhari Photo Achi Aati Hai”
Mera phone achha tha aur main photo acchi click karta tha, isliye kai students mujhe photography ke liye approach karte the. BCA-General aur BBA ke kuch students initially distance me rehte the, lekin dheere-dheere sabke sath rapport ban gaya.
📱 WhatsApp Status & Home-Cooked Lunch
Main har din apne lunch ki WhatsApp status lagata tha — kyuki mera lunch homemade hota tha, aur main khud banata tha. Rajma-Chawal, Aloo-Tamatar, Sandwich – sab log notice karte the. Yeh bhi ek connection point ban gaya tha classmates ke sath.
📚 Academics, Projects & Future Goals
BCA-DS ka syllabus practical aur industry oriented hai. Data Science, Python, DBMS jaise subjects padhe, jisme maza bhi aaya aur scope bhi hai. College me attendance strict hai lekin class bunk bhi ek part tha — kabhi-kabhi poora class ek sath bunk karta tha.
Mera goal hai ki BCA complete karne ke baad ek reputed tech firm me data analyst ya ML engineer ki job karun ya higher studies ke liye jaaun. College ka environment aur faculty support is journey me madad kar rahe hain.
❤️ College Life Ka Sach
College life sabke liye alag hoti hai, mere liye ye journey self-discovery, growth, aur change ka mixture rahi hai. Shuruaat me main sirf ek introvert student tha, lekin ab I’m more confident, expressive, and socially open. Maine seekha ki dosti karna, team me kaam karna aur apne thoughts express karna kitna important hota hai.

Yeh blog meri ab tak ki journey ka ek snapshot hai. Abhi bhi ek saal baaki hai graduation complete hone me. Shayad next blog me uski bhi kahani likhun.
